The reason was that I could not accept, believe, take fear as the basis of a (healthy) relationship. I would not love god, or jesus, or any other such creature on the basis of...

I believe that Martha has substituted the need to believe in a god with the need to believe in 'natural magical healing' and the massive conspiracy theory of the world.

I, for one, am going to go learn a new language, apparently I need to.

Artificial DNA? No such thing, we simply take DNA from a natural source and put it somewhere else. As far as I know, we are not able to modify genes in a purposeful manner... yet. I agree that modern methods of food production have impoverished the quality of our diet in different ways. But you are ...

Of course they do. They've worked for centuries - long before modern pharmacopia arrived on the scene! I regularly use herbal remedies and they work for me. If they work they should get lab-tested. If they refuse to lab-testing is only because it is charlatans defending them, selling you placebos. ...

You don't happen to work for a big multinational pharma company, by any chance, or the Irish Medical Establishment  My wife is a doctor, which probably makes my opinion biased on this matter. But when one of her patients has a heart attack, I don't see them or their families asking for a fuck...

BTW, Conventional medicine kills more people than it "fixes" - AND its a hell of a lot more expensive than Mother Nature's actual cures  Prove it or shut up. *EDIT* Of course, not that you'd need my permission to speak, but if you are planning on accusing anyone of being a murderer, I think y...

Well, watch out of atheist or god-despising characters out there in TV shows and movies (the kind of stuff the mindless drones stuff their brains with in exclusivity) and tell me if they are role models. Not enough good atheists out there, except maybe Gene Roddenberry 's. Martha, alternative medici...

I was passionate about sci-fi when younger, still am, but I read more down-to-earth stuff nowadays. My way of looking at this is, I can read stuff that is clearly made-up, not true, in somebody's imagination only, get all interested in the content, wanting to share it with others, and lots more... b...

It surely looks that way, Haymoon. Quite sad. Ignorance is a terrible thing, isn't that what the worst of religion is all about?
