Re: Loving the new logo!

Will take a bit of getting use to but I like the abstractness. I just had to have a go at animating it. Maybe it could be used for YouTube videos? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkVPnJZ0rOY I like, snappy and short, do you think you might do any further animating or happy to use as is? Can't really...

Loving the new logo!

I am slightly ashamed of how long its been since I've actually visited the site, normally I just receive all the news through RSS. But I have to say that I love the abstract logo on the front page. It reminds me of the London 2012 Olympics logo. I just had to have a go at animating it. Maybe it coul...

Re: Attend the World Atheist Convention in Dublin, June 3-5 2011

Because I'm poor, I have to ask... any further concession for paying Atheist Ireland members? Or is that asking too much? The Early Bird tickets are a good deal... in fact, the whole thing is a good deal! But I'm very cheap... :P

Re: Islam v Atheism debates, Today and Tomorrow, Dublin

Its 3am and I can't sleep, so I'm gonna say it. Its a stupid title for a debate. Its ignorant of what the word "atheism" means. Atheism is not the positive claim that a god does not exist. An atheist can believe this, or they can believe anything as long as they don't believe in a theistic god. That...

Re: Debate on existence of God, UCD, 7pm this Wednesday

Just back from the debate, had to leave at 8:40 at risk of being clamped but I think I saw the most of it. Had to leave before the voting though. :( Was a good debate (of sorts). Had to overcome some irritation towards the two girls speaking against the motion for their "cause it makes me feel warm ...

Re: David Norris for Irish President

The Irish thing if true would be a problem in my eyes. I would expect any national leader of this country to be fluent in both Irish and English as they are the official languages of the country. I think that a president who was not fluent in Irish would be a good representation fo the majority of ...
