Re: IHRC launches discussion paper
Playing devils advocate here - but if we had secular schools here in Ireland (I wish), then only kids of secular parents would feel completely at home in them – if we (AI) are for a pluralistic society, how can we accommodate religious people in a secular setting? Playing the anti-theist that I am-...

Re: Anti-Catholic Atheists
People rant about what affects them. I'm guessing 95%+ of atheists visiting this site were raised Catholic. Of course that's going to be their focus of attention.

Re: Christopher Hitchens to debate Tony Blair on Religion
Considering Tony Blair wants to "unite" Christians and Muslims to combat what he calls "extremist secularism" this debate should be fun. Blair has really shown his true colours since he left political office. His role as peace envoy while being responsible for a war and leader of a crazy internation...

( Poor XP ) Ubuntu on my 4 year old laptop gets me from OS selection screen (grub) to a login in under 35s and after that to a firefox in abou...

Re: Anti-virus software
McAfee security center is an okay product (and it's easy to configure and uninstall despite what others may say). You probably don't have to do a full scan that often, or just schedule it to happen at night. You have on access file scanning enabled presumably so files are scanned when opened, moved ...

Visual Studio 2010. You can have your hippie Linux stuff 8) Visual Studio is the only thing which makes development on Windows some way bearable. Got me a free copy with the MS Dreamspark student initiative. Love the new interface but they've moved things which is quite frustrating at times.
