A bit late, but good!
This fucker was in charge and is in a large part responsible for the financial mess we are in now.
I don't care if "he was a nice guy", as a politician he was an abysmal failure, either through incompetence or greed his legacy will remain with us for a very long painful time.

Re: Videogames
Long time gamer, started out on the Atari console, moved to Atari home computers and finally to PCs. (I leave console games to the kiddies!). I like strategy games, RPGs, FPS, MMO's but it's been a while since I played any, last one was Warhammer Online. Atm I'm waiting eagerly for Deus Ex, only @4 ...

Re: Arrested for burning koran!
As others have pointed out, there is a huge difference between the question of whether you should be allowed to do something and whether you should do something. The former is about rights and freedoms, the latter is a matter of utility. Burning books (flamabable physical books burnt by means of an...

Re: Arrested for burning koran!
Have you any examples of when mass book burning has achieved a desired result? Obviously not. It has never happened. But take strike action where people will walk out of their employment over the sacking of a co-worker. The tactic is the same. If enough people do it, they cannot all be victimised. ...

Re: Illegal to offend Muslims in Holland
Under Dutch law Mein Kampf is banned, I think on the basis that it's a vile, hate filled book.
GW is merely saying that if that's the criteria for banning a book, well then the koran meets that in spades, and should also be banned.
(NOTE: I don't agree with banning books, it's bloody stupid).

Re: Do you miss Sunday services?
Lol, do I miss Sunday services? Hell no ;) Why would I want to be bored out of my mind listening to some geezer pontificating about how we are all sinners and should give him and his buddies some of my cash, sitting on some of the most uncomfortable "furniture" ever made? No thanks, I'll take the li...

Re: Ostentatious religious dress
Ostentatious religious display in schools? No! Schools have a dress policy and all the students should adhere to it, no exceptions, no excuses. To do otherwise is to say that that the person getting the exemption is different to the other students. The same applies to work, most workplaces have a dr...

Re: LISBON TREATY
It's undemocratic because we were told explicitly that if there was a No vote, then the treaty was dead(ie no voting n times). Really ? When were we told that ? ... Are you saying you did not know that LT1 was supposed to be the one and only vote on the treaty? Did you expect to have multiple votes...
