Re: Greatest Irish Person

Here is a list of names I'd put before every single person in your list and would also put above James Joyce and Oscar Wilde... Re: What's your favourite piece of software?

My favourite software is probably my operating system, Ubuntu.. I've been using it for about 4 years now and it's completely replaced windows for me.

I also am a big fan of netbeans, I find it great, it's made development of Java a lot easier than before..

Re: Renting in Dublin

I did notice that you can get a higher standard for the same price on the north side of the city... Having said that we looked at about 9 places before finding something habitable for €800 Oh no that sounds bad. They have to be within walking distance of the Luas which goes from Stephen's green. We...

Re: Queen Elizabeth II to visit Ireland

Has anyone else seen the "No Royal Visit Protest March" posters that have been put up by erigi or whatever they are called ?
I have to giggle every time I see one as the last line after the date and the details of the march says "All Welcome"

I often consider sticking in "except Liz Windsor !"

Re: Bit of a dilemma - advice appreciated

The thing that confuses me, and this is to those of you who think that for the sake of being nice you would become godparents, is do you have any idea what the Catholic baptism ceremony requires godparents to do? As an atheist you are automatically disqualified in the first place, the priest is sup...

Re: Pope Benedict XVI IS A DICK.

Raised in Bavaria, Benedict XVI has both Vatican and German citizenship. Germany, of course, is a veritable dick factory, churning out the likes of Joseph Goebbels, Karl Marx, that "Sprockets” character Mike Myers used to do, and patron saint of dicks, Adolph Hitler . Is it a coincidence that 14 ye...
