Re: CARDINAL SEAN BRADY
Even in death,Smyth was being protected by the church-his funeral being in the darkness of the early hours, and him being buried in concrete.I first thought that was by way of punishment for his sins. But as it turned out,the idea of the concrete was so that nobody could dig him up and tear his rancid...

"The Exorcism Of Emily Rose"
(I know this is not exactly about Atheism, but there are characters with Atheist views) I think this film, which is based on "true events",should have made believers question their god more than any of the other "God v Satan" themed films, some of which were also based on "true events". Especially a pa...

Re: The Magdalene Sisters
Being aware of the pure undoubted evil of these people-and having watched films like The Magdalene Sisters,Song For A Raggy Boy and Our Boys,if any of those priests, nuns, sisters, brothers or whatever they call themselves were still alive(which is unlikely),I think I'd slowly torture them to death.

Re: Spike Milligan
I read somewhere that the reason the epitaph was written as Gaeilge was because family members couldn't agree on it-they knew that he wanted "I told ye I was sick" written on his grave, but family members, and the church i think also, believed that this was in bad taste. So they agreed to have it writte...

Re: Grúpaí Aindiachaithe le Gaeilge
Haigh! Taim chun alt a scríobh air seo. Tríd is tríd seachnaíonn daoine gan chreideamh osnádúrtha Dia dhuit, ach sleamhnaíonn corr 'le cúnamh dé' agamsa fiú. Tá 'Móra duit' ann cineál '~Greetings' 'Sé do bheatha' chomh maith. 'Conas atá?' agus 'Aon Scéal?' ríchoitianta. I am currently working on an...

Re: Grúpaí Aindiachaithe le Gaeilge
Dia dhuit is quite formal, the likes of conas atá tú is more common in practice (even though that means how are you rather than hello), in the Gaeltacht it's also common to hear people just say hi (I've seen it spelt 'haigh' on some occassions). On the whole I wouldn't be too concerned with the god...

Re: Grúpaí Aindiachaithe le Gaeilge
Conas atá sibh go léir.Is Aindiachaí mise,is breá liom an teanga Gaeilge agus é a bheith á labhairt chomh minic agus is féidir.Ach tá ceist agam.... How are ye all.I am an Atheist,I love the Irish language and I love to speak it as often as possible. But I do have a question..... This is unrelated to...
