All the various questions raised by Loose change could easily be answered by the the US government releasing all the information they've collected after the event. An example is the hit in the pentagon, how can a building as protected as this not have more cctv footage of the plane hitting it. They ...

A recent thread about the building of a mosque near groud zero in New York got me thinking about a documentry I saw this year called Loose change. I don't agree with most of the conclusions the program makers come up with but they raise some very valid questions about what really happened that day. ...

Wind simply isn't going to generate enough energy to sustain the country and even if it could, it would not be reliable enough. Nuclear is the only practical option we have. I agree. According to Brian Cowen, there is now no obstacle to a state visit to Ireland from Queen Elizabeth.

If Richard Bruton gets to be leader of Fine Gael I might give them a vote. Fianna fail is tainted forever due to corruption and Labour in government, would mean higher taxes because they would never face up to the various unions asking for more money to deliver a modern, effective public service.

A compromise for all sides would be for the south of Ireland to rejoin the commonwealth in return for a 32 county Irish government. Unionist would still have their connection with the British crown and Irish nationalists would finally have their 32 county Ireland.
