Re: Catholicism and the Unborn
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I am aware according to Catholic doctrine if a child dies before being baptised it goes straight to hell. That would be the theological reason I guess but the real reason would ultimately come down to control of women.

A friendship that crossed a boundary line
"A friendship that crossed a boundary line" . This is the description Bishop of Clonfert, Bishop John Kirby, gives to his view on the activity of pedophile priests under his control. Understandably people are outraged by this comment but this will blow over and nothing will change. What is not bein...

Bishop of Meath Michael Smith
Sickening carry on by Bishop Smith and his minions. Another glaring reason why this organisation should have no control over education. The Bishop and priest manage to get away scott free again. http://www.independent.ie/national-news/school-principal-gripped-by-cabin-fever-starts-afresh-3182657.htm...

I don't know if much will really be done but at least he is asking. Re: CARDINAL SEAN BRADY
And this guy is the head of the organisation which is the patron of 92pc of the 3,200 primary schools in the country! Let the church keep him but the state should now take control of education and keep our children away from these people. http://www.independent.ie/opinion/analysis/you-never-got-to-l...

He is coming under severe pressure now. The longer he holds on the more damage he is doing to the church. http://www.independent.ie/national-news/church-in-crisis-at-least-30-abused-after-cardinal-brady-didnt-report-smyth-3097558.html Church in crisis: At least 30 abused after Cardinal Brady didn’t ...

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin & Child Protection
I'm surprised with Diarmuid Martin. The Catholic Church just cannot be trusted! Dr Martin said she[the child safeguarding officer] was not told of the new information because he was restricted from sharing so-called 'soft' information, which was not sufficient to result in a conviction in court. ......
