Re: Really, Truly True Believer (™) - November Edition

Some of these stories are truly disturbing and others just funny. The USB connections story gets my vote. This Brazilian dude must be just way out there! Doesn’t he realise the trident was used for fishing in times gone by and is on the flag of Barbados? Maybe he thinks that’s where the Devil lives ...

That said, I can guarantee that it will not be degenerating into a flame-throwing arena either.
Trust me on that one.

Re: Jehovah's Wittnesses

Just a suggestion.... but it seems this thread has gone as far as it can go. Both sides (well Buzz V everyone else) have made their case and disagree. Maybe a lock down is the best option i.e. lock the thread? I cant see the sense in everyone repeating the same things over and over again personally....

None of the Creationist idiots on Youtube have done anything like this.

Nor that imbecile who makes people fall over with a wave of the hand - Benny Hinn.

Only science has the miracles.

Re: Rocky Road to Dublin

Very interesting documentary. We should never forget how much power the church had in Ireland. The fact that theatre director could not get a job for 5 years in Ireland because he was black-listed by the church seems almost unbelievable now.

Thanks for posting.

The Sligo goalkeeper was brilliant for the penalty shootout! Exciting stuff. Dont think I have ever seen four pens in a row saved before by the same keeper.

I like Penn. He can be very entertaining but I dont always agree with all his opinions. There are some great videos on YouTube called "Bullshit" with him and Teller. Very entertaining.
