Can you explain how rejection will be devastating to our economy. I didn't notice the French or the Dutch economy being 'devastated' after their rejection of the Constitution ref... if we reject it seems to me the status quo will have to exist as the EU will have no other choice until another treaty...

I hope the Irish people have the cajones to reject this treaty as did the French and Dutch...but I doubt it...84% believe in god...surely enough of those are sufficiently deluded to vote for anything the politicians throw at them.
