The use of the word 'groom' is designed to make us sound like paedophiles. Grooming horses and grooming children are two very different things.

There's good, clear info on Citizen's Information about how schools are managed and funded. There's also information on curriculum too.

Outstanding production values. I especially enjoyed watching it in high-def! Shermer is engaging and to the point - and he does credit Sagan with the term "Baloney Detection Kit"!

A good few opinions have been expressed about the harm that religion does but I'm not sure if these can be quantitatively evaluated. Nice find, Adam - thanks for that. The video won't play for me right now, YouTube seem to be having some kind of problem.

Wasn't it Carl Sagan who coined the term "Baloney Detection Kit" in "The Daemon-Haunted World"? I hope he gets a credit as the originator of the term!
