The Church's obsession with human sexuality is absolutely unfathomable.

It's not holy, it's not sacred, it's not "dirty".
Anyone with half a brain, basic knowledge of biology, history and anthropology should be able to recognise that.

Anyone with a knowledge only of biology, history and anthropology would naturally agree with you.

I don't know what the question really means.

That's harldy surprising.

You might not be so quick to apply the same question to a friend or neighbour. Not unless you friend or neighbour belonged to an organisation with a centuries old history of covering up rape, incest, child buggery and torture, right up to the present time. Of course all of the abuse can only be sustained by the sometimes wilful ignorance of its devout supporters.
Human communication is a very rickety rope bridge between minds. Its too narrow to allow but a few thoughts to cross at a time. Many are lost in the chasms of noise, suspicion, misinterpretation and shooting the message through dislike of the messenger.

You have to watch Proposition 8 - The Musical or watch it here

They make an argument similar to the one Neil DeGrasse Tyson made at Beyond Belief 2006 but this one you can dance to.

What?
So they'd believe some random book that says the world was made in 6 days that sex actually is sacred?

How could an Omnipotent Supreme Designer include inopportune farting, cramp, badly timed bowel movements and involuntary belching in something sacred?

Archbishop describes scale of abuse by priests as "staggering"
Friday November 28 2008

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin has described the scale of abuse by priests of the Dublin Diocese as "staggering".

In a letter to priests Dr Martin says at least 400 men and women have suffered trauma as a result of having been sexually abused by a priest working in the diocese of Dublin.

This letter - seen by the Irish Catholic newspaper - was sent by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin to priests in the Dublin diocese.

In it Dr Martin says that the fact 400 people have been abused by Dublin priests is staggering and the figure is most certainly not final.

Dr Martin writes "we as priests are extremely upset and offended by what has happened through the actions of some".

The archbishop is to host a number of meetings early next month to prepare priests for the fallout from the report of the Dublin Inquiry into abuse in the diocese, which is due to finish its work at the end of January.

That's what happens when you have sex with atheists. None of that happens with a Christian, but you have to marry them first to find out.

So that's what put you off atheist and put you back on the path to god: the women! I'm glad you finally englightened us.

At least you undertook the research so you could make the comparison.
