my point exactly - i don’t know what random is (unless your talking bout maths) so I'm an idiot (sarcasm in case it's missed) what is the matter with plain talk - no innuendoes or italics. You never seem to say anything constructive.

I've launched a semi-humorous quest for excommunication.

I have just emailed a letter to the Dublin diocese requesting them to update their records to show I am no longer a member. I should have done it long ago :!:
It has been playing on my mind for the last year or so mainly as regards my funeral. I attended a cousin`s funeral last year and it truely sickened me how overly religious it was when my cousin was not religious during her life.
Even though I`ve told the family I do not want that kind of funeral I want to make sure by being removed from church records and I`ll be letting the local churches know that they cannot give me a funeral when I get it in writing just to be sure :D

I wonder if that would work. Catholicism is so embedded and arrogant they automatically assume their right to do it to you is beyond your right to refuse. Individual rights are anathema to religionism.

I`m not totally depending on that. My daughters are now late teens, one is an athiest and the other has an interest in wicca. They both know my feelings and wishes but what worries me is that if I was to have an accident tomorrow older members of the family would try to overrule my wishes. My mother already told me she would donate my organs even though I`ve told her I`m totally against it and with her being very religious if I went first I need `something extra` to stop the funeral mass and the rosary etc.
