I'm going for Holy Mother Church in her Wisdom™ deciding that ordaining women was as bad as - actually much, much worse than - raping children.

If it does nothing else it lays bare what they really think of women.

By default you must be REGistered to vote in a poll. The standard phpBB code does not allow anonymous users (guests) to vote, as it records the user_id during the voting process in order to prevent multiple votes from the same person.

A shame but registration is easy and we could do with a couple of Pharyngula users joining us around here

The large PZ traffic however has caused delays in the confirmation email being sent out... the one that lets your confirm your email address and registration. I will keep an eye on this for the next day or 2 and manually confirm anyone who registers.

Aww... It has to be Conor Lenihan. That story was so much fun. He deserves to be lauded for it!

I will make sure to give him a good honorary mention for second place if the results keep going as they currently are.

The list is so good that I'd love to vote for all of them, maybe a special Irish award for the Irish contenders who gets the higher vote.
