It's a 99 Fatboy last of the evo's, the dyna's were already twin cam. I have it for 10 years now so it's a bit worn. Dutch winters are not good for bikes! I used to drive summer and winter but to old for that now! I'm busy replacing everything that's old and rusty now and hope to have a nice rust free bike next year.

Had a heratige before this one and Buell. Before that suzuki and bmw's. Never been without a bike since I was 18.

Catherder, your bike is older but looks in much better shape though.

Anti Christ is an absolute winner

I don't know. It doesn't mention quantum... or fairies.

What about the "Bad Boy Quantum Fairies".. or we can spell it the old fashioned way "Bad Boy Quantum Faeries"

Seamus... only kidding about the helmet. Must take balls...
I know you are  but you're right full face helmets offer a lot more protection. Problem is I don't like them. Have always worn an open face helmet even before I bought the Harley. Heard a story once about a guy getting his jaw torn off on the road and it always plays on the back of my mind. A riding instructor once told me "If you've got a $10 head put it in a $10 helmet" Was kinda surprised to find out that he valued his own head at only $350

I've always been a fair weather biker, anyhow you couldn't ride in Michigan winters, although there were some dedicated souls who would put a side-car on for the winter and brave the snow. I was using it as transport for about a year here in Ireland but I find that that kinda takes the fun out of things. Lately I've been getting "white finger" from a mixture of cold and vibration. We're all getting old

Had a Yamaha XS 1100 before the Harley and a Honda CB 750 before that, and a load of little hair-driers before that. (no offence inedifix :P )

Ah but I've had it in the shed for the last 10 years

   I like that!

I've heard from other half-face and tinpot wearers that bugs in the mouth are a bit of an issue in summer. Mind you, a bee inside a full face would be pretty horrific too.

Or bottoms for that matter. I think there was some real value in having 'bottom' and 'fairy' in the name

Or: "The Bad-Assed Quantum Bottom Fairies"

Yeah, but you should see me in my black leathers and my... bright dayglo orange hi-visibility vest

Not so cool. Safe... but definitely not cool.

I like the look of that, always wanted to get all chrome of my bike and replace it with black powdercoating.

Don't need a high vis jacked they hear me coming before they see me. Loud pipes save lives (good excuse, just love the noise  )
