Taxes in Ireland - Help needed

Post by Wened » Sat Jul 09, 2011 3:22 pm

Hello.

A friend of mine needs to pay some taxes to the revenue.
He already has all the paper work. He only needs to send money.

1. It says in his papers that he can send money by cheque
Q: Would it be okay to use Money Order instead? Did anyone here payed his taxes by money order?

2. It says "make it payable to Collectors General"
Q: Does that mean that he only needs to put "Collectors General" as a recipient?

3. Q: Do You think revenue will accept money order from polish bank? money is money right?

I'd imagine that the revenue would be happy to accept butter vouchers at this stage but the contact details your friend needs is probably this one:

Thank You mate. I had sent them an email with some questions. Hope they respond quickly.

Anyone else care to elaborate on their experience in this subject?
