Well done to the Super Hoops on beating Bnei Yehuda of Israel 1 -0 in the Europa League tonight, they now have a lucrative clash with Juventus in the next round...

Brilliant result, can't wait to see Juve in Tallaght stadium next Thursday. :D

Sorry to see Sporting Fingal lose, scoring 4 (2 each home and away) against a pretty decent Portuguese team is no mean feat though.

Both efforts put even more context on Bohemians humiliation the other night!

Off for a pint before going to see the Juventus match (now I know how Charlie felt when he found a golden ticket to Willy Wonkas factory! :D )

C'mon the mighty HOOPS!

The rest of you can enjoy the action on RTE2 tv or rte.ie/live

Unlikely they'll get a result but best of luck to them nonetheless...

The first half of the league/cup double should (hopefully :? ) be secured tonight.
What a great season it has been, plenty of high points and a lot of drama due to a shaky few games coming towards the end of season.

Is there anyone going to the cup final on Sunday from here?
It should be a great day out, I believe around 30,000 tickets are already sold.

C'mon The Hoops! 8)

I'm hoping the underdogs Sligo win, hopefully a lot will go. Despite its financial problems the quality of domestic Irish soccer has greatly improved in the last few years, then again it's always improving, so here's hoping for a a good match.

I'm not sure I'd class Sligo as being the underdogs, towards to the end of the league they were by far playing better football than anyone else.
Shamrock Rovers scraped through by the skin of their teeth to become league champions, through injuries they pretty much much have no defence.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and win or lose I'll have a good night, Monday is booked off work :D
