Very strange stuff. It seems Josh Timonen, the guy who was closely involved in setting up the RD.net website is being sued for embezzlement by Richard Dawkins. He's claiming innocence http://joshtimonen.com/post/1387207318/ ... e-betrayal

I don't know what to make of it. Last year's forum kerfuffle is utterly irrelevant to this case.
I felt genuine sympathy for the admins over there at the time because it was not their decision to shut the forum, but apart from becoming the focal point of genuine criticism & grievance voiced by users; they were repeated savaged by cowards hiding behind their anonymous usernames. But all that has got nothing to do with this.

I can't see how anyone, let alone Dawkins would bring serious charges against a former employee unless they had genuine evidence for it.
Actually, I just noticed that The Greatest Show on Earth is dedicated to him, that's how much Richard valued & liked him.
