The Census reveals a four-fold increase in non-religious, despite the fiddling of the question.

Off topic: why has the popularity of this forum declined? Also the RDF site has similarly declined. [My attempt to post the above link there was met with "This item has been rejected"]

Activity here seems to have moved to facebook and twitter which are very active at the expense of this forum. The RDF eliminated their forum a couple of years ago to focus on a front page like comment system. It was controversial at the time.

From what I can see that popularity of forums like this has declined across the board, others I have used for years in the areas of music, football etc have all died a death over the past few years.
There seems to be no stopping Facebook.

I personally prefer forums like this over Facebook and Twitter to discuss things properly.
