All I got for memorising and reciting the creed perfectly when I was about 7 was a book voucher :x

I'd be happy with the book voucher. At least you never got stoned or amputated for dancing at a wedding or having a neat ringtone.
In certain areas al-Shabab leaders have banned musical mobile phone ringtones, films, football broadcasts, dancing at weddings and even shop signs written in English or Somali rather than in Arabic. Punishments for infringements include double amputations and stonings
