Hi all, I'll definitely make it. I'll try and drag some friends and some members of the MWH along with me, looking forward to it!!

My schedule is generally mental, but I am quite interested in this, and will do my best to attend.

First meeting

Yes I'm up for it. Been a while since I've been to Dublin and so the first meeting would be a good reason to travel in a southerly direction.

Look forward to it.

4:00pm. What a civilised hour. I'll be there with my brain switched into the 'on' position. A rare thing on a Sunday.

hence the standard early morning sermons, trying to catch you with your mental pants down and still half-asleep, dewy-eyed and unquestioning...

I can't attend as I live overseas but I will be interested to hear the reports from the first meeting. Just off the top of my head, I remember Sam Harris speaking at an atheist event in the US last year and voicing doubts about the benefits associated with forming an atheist group. He said its like seeing the outline of a dead body on the floor and then lying down in it. He seemed to think the best way forward was not giving oxygen to the flames, if I remember correctly. Apologies if this has already been mentioned. If not, I will try to post a link to the video later.
