Good evening all!

I have just joined the forum and was wondering if there are any meetings i.e. pubs, where I could meet with a group of like minded folk for a few 'jars'.

Also if there are any badges available I would be iterested.

I reside in the North East , the 'wee county'.

I have a strong urge to feel I belong as I feel strangly isolated.

Congratulations! You've just volunteered to be the coordinator for the North East region!

You don't have to be, of course, but all it takes is someone to pick a time and place and make sure people know about it.

In the meantime, Dublin Atheists in the Pub is on tomorrow night from 7:30pm in MacTurcaill's on Tara St.

Cheers m8.

I would obviously be very interested in approx how many like minded folk in my locality.

I will need to think about this as I am certainly no leader or organiser although there is always a first time :o

Would be good to meet you chaps in the Dublin pub but maybe a bit difficult for me this time round .

Hopefully next time though.

Is there a thread where meetings are regularly posted?....As a newbie I am not sure how it works.

Many thanks.

I’m in the North East - Ardee, Jon’s in Drogheda, Irish Shaman is Dundalk/Newry. The Count Me Out folks are from Dundalk as well (I think). The Facebook page usually sends out an invite to pub events.https://www.facebook.com/AtheistIreland.You can get a scarlet A from RDF http://store.richarddawkins.net/collections/jewelry-1or a Humanist pin from HAI.

Thats fantastic! :D

many thanks for the info.

I am from Dundalk so very happy to find quite a few folk so near...

Not just me the 'lone rider' then.

Happy days.

I have just ordered a scarlet 'A'

I wonder just how many folk will ask me what it actually means!..... looks like your average charity pin.

Nice though and will be worn with pride!...

Should come in handy for group meets.
