Interview Sunday Tribune

Post by Tulip1 » Sat Jan 15, 2011 10:10 am

Thanks to Marks, I had an interview with the Sunday Tribune as a follow up from last weeks article about the submission of AI to the IHRC about religion and education.

It is about my experiences with the old school of my son.

Anyway hopefully it will be in the paper tomorrow.
Pope says atheists pick & choose their morals. Correct. Today I will be frowning on child abuse & not having a problem with homosexuality.

Fair play Tulip, you're brave to come forward and to take these things head on.

Wish there were more like you.

I think nobody will talk to us in the village after the tommorow.
It is not brave but pure outrage about how they just don't go into a dialoge or even think they have to explain themself to anyone, specially a foreign atheist.

We are still busy with the equal right authority as well.

We just hope it inspires more people to not just accept it all anymore.

Well done on the Article.

It gives a very practical account of what we are campaigning against.

I don't see why we cannot use this Article in any Submissions to the UN. Once we can provide a link to the Article there should be no problem with using it.

The Irish Human Rights Commission has referred an Article by Fintan O'Toole of the Irish Times in their recent Submission to the UN under the International Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination so we can refer to an Article by John Downes of the Sunday Tribune in ours.

Use it were ever you like, you got my full support. And thanks again marks for making this possible.

@ dev: Article iscalled "Father hits out at school over son reciting prayers" but I think they will put it up tomorrow when the paper doesn't sell anymore.
