Pope says atheists pick & choose their morals. Correct. Today I will be frowning on child abuse & not having a problem with homosexuality.

Under the proposals, there will be greater parental involvement, as the responsibility for preparing youngsters moves from schools to parents and the parish, the Irish Times reports...Families will be expected to attend Sunday Masses more regularly during the preparatory year

Well that should be a popular move!

Hopefully this will make a few people have a good hard look at what they are doing and what they actually believe. From conversations I've had with other parents there are a good number of people out there who send their kids through communion etc. just because "its what you do"...if it becomes a pain in the arse then they might change their minds.
