Is Sir Patrick Moore an Atheist?

Just watching "Sky at night" about Vesta.
Kind of missed what Patrick was saying, but heard "Our Father who art ...(he started laughing)...that's as far as I got, now to Peter & Paul outside"
Just suprised, he does have a subtle sense of humour.

I'd be very surprised if he wasn't. I watch it regularly and I can't remember ever hearing him use any suspect language. He never uses words like majesty, creation, design etc..

I can't say for sure though, but I would be surprised.

I don't know either, he does have conservative politics - supports UKIP and says there are "too many women running the BBC."
But he does keep to the natural explanations of how the universe formed etc. And I know he is really against pseudoscience like astrology and UFOs.
