Ugh I woke up at 6am this morning to get the bus to the train station to Dublin, was up in time no problem ready and all, but I left my house a bit late for the bus and missed it.

So I've missed the train, I'll be getting the next oen down but I'm pretty annoyed I got up at 6am for no reason lol

I'll be getting there about half 12 now.

I really enjoyed it. Sorry I didn't get to attend the last day, my bank holiday cut short by work commitments.

I got to go for a short walk with PZ Meyers, I was thrilled. Then the coffee I promised him didn't transpire because Insomnia closes at 5pm, then I was mortified. But he was nice about it. (My bus got attacked by a 90ft high tentacled flying monster on the way home, and right now I'm posting from a weird dimension filled with mad pipe music, but I figure that is completely unrelated to the coffee incident.)

I had a great time. Unfortunately I was only able to catch the last few minutes of the Panel discussion on Friday evening and about half of the events on Saturday. I couldn't make it to Sunday.

It was a little surreal fighting Richard Dawkins for the last sandwich on Friday night! Then lining up for a pint and overhearing a conversation at the bar between Dawkins and PZ Myers!

Little experiences such as these would surely have been very unlikely at the much larger event held in Melbourne last year where the speakers were virtually inaccessible to the thousands of people who showed up.

Yes I would agree, I didn't speak to Richard much, but I got my photo with him, and I saw him so much it was crazy, I sat behind him during the convention and could see him using his ipad, iphone and macbook, it was great.

I don't see many videos on youtube of the convention funny enough, if there's any videos online people should post them here.

The entire conference was taped by a number of people including Ruairi O'Baoill who generously is editing clips etc for us which we will post as soon as they are available.
