Here’s the link (hope it works) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CI3ZUFHU It’s rared, so you need winrar to unzip it. Find it here http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/ ... 07677.html (to be honest I don’t know many people that don’t have winrar – A bit like not having Word)
– Did you move because of discrimination from the local community after standing up to your kids school or just personal circumstance?

I do have winrar so no problem, Thanks!!

Yes I do move because the neighbours told their children not to play with ours. Other children picked up on that and Finn is getting it. This is not fair on him, so we decided to move and make it easier for him to put the whole episode behind him.

Hope everything works out ok in the new place.
Not all parts of Ireland is so discriminating, so it’s sad to think this thing can happen in some backward parts of Ireland, as we pride ourselves on our Irish welcome. A person being made unwelcome in a town in Ireland because of their position on Faith, makes me think of those comments on the radio at the time of the Angelus campaign, when some people said "if you don't like it you can leave the country" (a religious refugee from catholic intolerance & oppression). I wonder what their high-priest has to spew out form his podium.

I am shocked and disappointed that these fellow Irish have acted in such a manner, a sad day for the hospitality that Ireland use to be renowned for.

We slept in the new house for the first time and the neighbours are delighted to see new children. A boy next door is very happy with Finn moving in.

The sad part of this whole episode is that the people in the village never took the time to come and talk to us (except for one and she was shouting at my wife while she was trying to get our 1,5 year old daughter in the car)

This were all people we knew reasonably well.

But hey we have a great new house nearer Finn school and my college! We are happy and don't regret a thing, it just made us more determined!
