I found myself becoming unprofessionally excited as, after explaining to his wife that I needed someone to say rude things about Michael Moore, I heard footsteps advancing eagerly towards the receiver.

this some up his career, don't have much time for contrarians myself

In this YouTube video clip, Hitchens actually says: "Is George Bush on a Christian Crusade in Afghanistan and Iraq? Obviously not!" etc etc etc..

OK, so the GWB gang have planted themselves in the Middle East cos they're after the oil - we all know that. But, didn't GWB himself say God told him to "liberate" the Middle East
I think the point Martha is getting at is this quote from Richard Dawkins, which goes against what Hitchens said.

Quote:
RD: The United States is the most religiose country in the Western world, and its born-again Christian leader is eyeball to eyeball with the most religiose people on Earth. Both sides believe that the Bronze Age God of Battles is on their side.

Hello All,

Hitchens will be speaking on the Today FM's Sunday Supplement with David Quinn this Sunday 17th, as well as another well-known Irish atheist, Eamonn McCann. Wont get a chance to listen to it myself.

If someone can please post a copy of the show on this site.

Thanks.

I am in agreement. Michael Moore is full of shit and if complete and utter lies are the best the american left has to offer then call me a republican... in the american sense of course since I'm already a memeber of the Australian Republican Movement which has completely different conotations.

Moore is no better than the creationists of Kansas.

Hi lostexpectation,

can't understand your response to bipedal. Could it mean "I am, like, a teenager, like, and I'm not used to using, like, words, to like, express myself, so I, like, roll my eyes" ?

As you already know, FXR, the Gate Theatre told me that was no ticket left in the box office for me. When did you leave that ticket in for me?
