Good article & nice picture.
Might be well worth seeing Part3 of Jane's talk on secular education about Human Rights on CorkHumanists Youtube channel.

Well done again Tulip & Marks.

I find the following quote sad:

Quote:
"I don’t want to upset anybody,” she stresses, “but just because we don’t believe in God does not mean we can’t raise our children to be good people.”

It's a great pity that people feel this way. You never hear of a believer feeling they are upsetting anybody else by the beliefs that they hold, and rightly so. She shouldn't feel like she's upsetting anyone by standing by her beliefs. It's not as if she asking for her beliefs to be forced on anyone else.

An equally valid statement:

Quote:
"I don’t want to upset anybody,” she stresses, “but just because we believe in God does not mean we can’t raise our children to be good people.”
