The 2012 Atheist Ireland AGM and public meeting will take place in Dublin on Saturday 18th August, venue to be decided.

Our guest speaker for the afternoon session, which is open to the public, will be Sanal Edamaruku, the President of Rationalist International and of the Indian Rationalist Association, who is facing blasphemy charges in India after exposing that a miraculous crying statue of Jesus was actually caused by leaking plumbing.

As before, the morning session will be for members only, and will deal with internal matters. We’ll soon send agenda details to members.

UPDATE the date has been pushed back a few weeks and now will probably be in early September

No you haven't missed it. We are waiting to see if Sanal Edamaruku can make it, so It now looks like mid to late October.

Sanal has his visa now so we are just working out the details. It's still looking like mid October at the moment.

It is likely to be on the 20th of October, time, venue and agenda will be announced later.
