It was a brief enough piece.

The main points I made were:

The poll reflects global trends, including world values survey.

Census question assumed you have a religion; answers to this question more likely to be accurate.

Less stigma now in self-identifying as an atheist.

Africa, Latin America, South Asia and Africa very religious

North and East Asia, Europe and USA less religious.

Atheist Ireland still working for an ethical secular state.

David says division is between religion and secularism - but religious people can be secular - David himself is a secularist on issues such as religious oath for President.
