Uh... that would be religious belief.
This Monday, Dr Dylan Evans from UCC will be speaking in TCD on the evolutionary roots of religious belief. He writes for the Guardian and is also the author of a bunch of popular science books. It's been organised by the psychology society and is open to all interested parties, not just TCD students. In the absence of a CSC-recognised Atheist or Secular Humanist soc in Trinity, I figured some of you guys might be hanging out here.
It takes place at 7pm, Monday 7th December in room 3074, upstairs in the arts block at TCD.

Re: TCD psychsoc talk on the evolutionary roots of religious bel
I might attend this depends on how I handle my workload over the weekend. Any one else going?

Hi,
I did make it to the talk at the end and I'm glad I did. It was a very enjoyable and interesting talk. I also enjoyed talking to Dr.Evans at the reception, pity he had to leave so soon.
