Who said that the VVD was extreme right? If you're only speaking economically, then surely the Socialists would be further to the left. If you mean 'extreme right' more broadly, then I'm not sure whose point you're addressing.
The PVV from wilders is not close to the VVD but more near the CD a few years ago (confusingly CD stands for centrum democraten). D66 is really a proper center party and progresive (and green) in a lot of things. Now I have had a steam course in Irish politics last election but got nothing on the PD. Will google them and let you know.

I have to say that the VVD moved more towards the center the last years. Most party's in the Netherlands agree on most issues and only dissagree on budget most of the time (I generalise here ofcourse). The only outsides we have are the very religous Christen Unie (one of the party's didn't allow woman to join before they melted in one very religous group and in the coalition!!!), the PVV from Wilders and in the left corner SP (a left wing party in favour of compulsory Dutch lessons for foreighnors) Groen links ( a green party that put that claims green for the left, don't get that, everybody should be minimum a bit green)
Thanks for the lesson, but I'm already familiar with the Dutch political parties. The only point I'm making is that the VVD is an economically right-wing party (on the spectrum of the main Dutch parties one of the furthest right in that sense, but not in terms of social conservatism) and that, therefore, it's not unreasonable to describe Aayan Hirsi Ali as 'right-wing' given her past association with it, as well as her current links with the right/neo-conservatives in the United States.

I know you didn't say the VVD was extreem right. It was matter of speech, the VVD and the PVDA are not that far from each other as I explained a bit further, They are both very central and both moved towards each other the past 10, 15 years. I wouldn't call the PVDA left or the VVD right at all. D66 is more left then the PVDA but still very central.

It is very scarry to have this christain party's running the country though and I would call the Christen Unie a fundamentalist christian party.

If you are fimilair with the dutch politics you will know that the main party's only differ on budget isues and hardly on other issues, not even economical.

Still didn't look at the PD but I think (as far as I could figure out) that the main stream irish politic ar more conservative and right then the dutch, but correct me if I'm wrong.

You should take some of your own advice. Did you need to make at stab at Theistic sites just to get your point across?

I hope Geert takes control of the Netherlands so finally a debate on the world stage can be started about the facist ideology of Islam. We have been asleep for too long and its time to stand up to those who do not accept our culture of freedom of speech and religion and of course the rights of women and we should show them the door, they can be bigots elsewhere.

Theres nothing quite like the feeling when your walking down Commercial road in the centre of London on a friday afternoon after mosque and your the only White man, in either direction for a hundred meters, amongst thousands of people and thinking to yourself if alot of these people knew what I thought about their God.......

If we continue to ignore the Islamists, then similar scenes I saw repeated many times all over England will happen here also

yes yes I know I referenced "white man" in my post, I was the only one on that street many days.

Irish is not a race, for that matter neither is Dutch, english, black or muslim
