What to do in class if opting out?

Hi Folks

I'm just wondering if anyone has some tips for what activities or material to provide to children if they have to sit in class during religious instruction.

I want to 'opt out' my son next year who'll be in senior infants, but he has to stay in class as it's a small school. Does anyone have any experience of this situation and what worked best for you?
